Our story
Part of the community for years
We have been providing high-quality dental care to families in Southwater and the surrounding areas of West Sussex for many years. Our practice was founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to excellent dental care in a comfortable, friendly environment.
Over the years, we have grown and evolved, investing in the latest technology and expanding our range of treatments — but our core values have never changed. We still treat every patient as an individual, taking the time to listen, explain and provide care that is truly tailored to them.

Meet our dental team
Dr. Sean Khorami
Principal Dentist DDS (Sweden) GDC number 75181
Dr. Khorami qualified in Sweden and has practised in the UK for many years. He is passionate about preventive dentistry and helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. He was an educational supervisor for London South East - Kent, Surrey, Sussex deanery from 2008-2024. He has been mentoring dentists for many years and is continually updating his knowledge on advancements within dentistry. He is married and has two children.
Dr. Keerut Oberai
Dentist (GDC number 277281)
Dr. Oberai has been at Southwater Dental Practice since 2018. Keerut gradutated from the University of Liverpool in 2018 and has a Master's in Medical Ethics and Law from King's College London. In 2022 he completed a year long course with Aspire Dental Academy in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to routine dentistry, Keerut has an interest in clear aligner orthodontic treatment and cosmetic dentistry including composite bonding. Keerut takes a patient centred approach to dental care with an emphasis on modern preventative dentistry. Coming to the dentist can be an anxious experience for some patients and Keerut takes pride in helping to make patients feel welcome and comfortable at the practice. In his spare time he likes playing golf and is a keen runner.
Dr. Rana Fard
Specialist Orthodontist

Rana completed her dental degree at the University of Liverpool in 2018, during which she undertook an intercalated BSc in Craniofacial and Stem Cell Biology at King's College London. During her time at King's, she was heavily involved in research and received a Research Award in recognition of her work.
After graduating, she gained extensive experience across a variety of hospital specialties, including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, and General Dentistry. During this time, she achieved her Diploma of Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Rana went on to pursue Specialist Orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Institute in London, where she strengthened her expertise in Orthodontics. She subsequently obtained her Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Rana is dedicated to working collaboratively with her patients to create confident and healthy smiles. She prides herself on delivering personalised care and ensuring her patients feel comfortable, listened to, and supported throughout their treatment journey. Rana provides clear aligner treatment for both adults and children at Southwater Dental and is able to offer appointments on Saturdays.
Outside of orthodontics, Rana enjoys Pilates, running, and has a strong passion for art.
